Do you feel comfortable touching other people?

Not in a sexual way, like a pat on the shoulder?

I see people do it on TV all the time, it even happens at work, of course I usually jump out my skin when someone does it to me.

Maybe I'm repressed, maybe I'm on the spectrum, I never know the right time to do this to someone else, and if I do manage it, it always feels awkward.

I'm more comfortable touching people when I'm punch drunk happy.

Used to hug my parents before I went to bed as a kid. Now I'm just not a toucher. A handshake every now and then, maybe a fist bump, but that's normal courtesy.

Just feels awkward now... I couldn't tell you the last time, nor the last person I hugged.

I hugged someone at work today, she's thinking of putting down her dog, that sounds like the sort of person who needs a hug.

We used to have a teacher who would pat us on the back or touch our shoulder, I dont' remember but my friend and I would always duck to avoid it.

I think in today's world it is best to not touch others without consent-not that it was okay to touch people before-
I even went to hug someone the other day and before I did asked, "Can I give you a hug?"
It feels kind of awkward, but I would much rather that-
There was a guy up here in his 70's and I saw him hug a 20 something and the look on her face-oy

No one has hugged me since my mum's funeral over 8 years ago, so hopefully they don't decide I need a hug on the tenth anniversary or something.

I've started getting back pain since hitting 56.

I suspect this is my life now.
