TV X-Men '97

This show is great. Please make live action movies like this, Marvel.

So many cameos this week but they served to grow the show's universe and did not distract at all.

"What did you expect, black leather?" Take THAT, Singer.

Phoenix mentioned a couple of times in the epsidoe and seen in the opening, hmm.

MORPH SMASH!

Does Morph have to have met the person they morph into, suggesting that they have met The Hulk?

I don't know. I'm sure Morph has at least seen the Hulk on the new so he knows what he looks like. But then again Captain America seemed to know who Rogue was so maybe Morph did meet the Hulk.

Great finale. Only problem is so much happens that they can't really dwell on anything. Rogue leaving the X-Men last week seemed like a big thing but it only lasted like five minutes.

Where was Storm at the end?

That scene with Scott and Jean saying goodbye to Nathan:

Looks like Peter Parker finally found the real MJ. Spiderman '98, yes please!

They're doing another Spide-Man cartoon set in the MCU (I think) so maybe it'll be a while before we get that.

I miss @SAUSAGEMAN

2.1 - It was a good opener, but very rushed. I mean, I do enjoy how fast-paced the show is, but there are moments where I wish it would slow down. Didn't Wolverine go feral at the end of last season? He seemed pretty normal here, other than not having his skeleton. I should have watched a recap of season one, really.

2.2 - This was GREAT. Yeah, it was super fast-paced too and had a ton of characters (some appearing for the first time, I think?) but it was so fun I didn't care this time. Emma Frost rules. Jubilee FUCKING RULES and if they recreated that scene of her escaping activity in live action it would be the first TEN BILLION DOLLAR MOVIE. But the cowards won't do it.

2.3 - Kang the Conqueror and Apocalypse facing off is certainly a cool nerdy thing. It was the weakest of the three episodes but still good.

(sorry I haven't watched the show yet)

It's a follow-up to a cartoon that orig9inally ran from 1992 to 1997 so it would probably be hard to jump in to.
