'07 Charger--Fox Edition...

A'ight. I'm a bit of a n00b here. But if you've been at WF, you may have heard some of my screeds about Mopar. When the brought back the mighty Dodge Charger as a...sedan:huh:... I was pretty disgusted. I mean, when you think Dodge Charger, what do you think? The General Lee. :techman: This damned thing looks like the bastard child of a sedan and a Ram pickup. :dry:

Finally I couldn't take it anymore. I dusted off my ancient copy of CorelDraw and did the Fox Charger. So here it is, along with my references, an '06 Charger and the General Lee:

What they did to the Charger borders on the criminally insane, but it seems like they might have redeemed themselves with the 2008 Challenger.

Yes, but the sins they have committed upon the Avenger (I have a '97) more than offset that.

OK. Looked at her again and realized that she still wasn't a Charger. She was really more of a Mustang than a Charger. So I had a look at one of the current Monte Carlos*--which are more like the classic Charger as far as type--and realized that there was significant "junk in the trunk". So I reworked it to make it a bit bigger car:

*Of course I've heard they are discontinuing the Monte Carlo, so :shrug: (Not that that breaks my heart. GM is as stupid as Mopar. How do you make a big muscle car coupe and not have the option of buying it as a manual transmission. :bang:
