2024 nba draft rankings: jonathan givony's top 25 prospects
A French prospect sits at No. 1 on our NBA draft board, but it's not Perth's Alex Sarr. Zaccharie Risacher, the 18-year-old wing on JL Bourg, has emerged as ESPN's current top 2024 NBA draft prospect. With his excellent 3-point shooting and 6-foot-10 frame that should fill out with age, Risacher will likely be selected early during the NBA's two-night draft.

2024 NBA mock draft: Ignite's long-term future and Matas Buzelis' rise

It was an eventful 24 hours for G League Ignite at NBA All-Star Weekend. On Friday night during the Rising Stars competition, Team Detlef (G League) upset Team Pau (featuring rookies Victor Wembanyama and Bradon Miller) thanks to a game-winning shot by Ignite prospect Matas Buzelis. On Saturday morning, Andscape's Marc J. Spears reported that Ignite's Ron Holland would miss the rest of the season with a right thumb injury. And in addressing the media Saturday night, NBA commissioner Adam Silver called into question the long-term future of Ignite because of the emergence of name, image and likeness deals in college basketball. In the meantime, the Ignite program has four prospects projected to go in the first round in our latest 2024 NBA mock draft, topped by the recent rise of Buzelis. The 6-foot-10 forward is likely to have more of a platform to showcase his game with Holland sidelined.

2024 nba draft rankings: jontathan givony's top prospects
It's officially the home stretch for professional basketball teams across the world, while March Madness is starting to heat up in the United States. As seasons come to an end, March will be a crucial month for prospects slated for the 2024 NBA draft.

********
A pair of French players once again claim the top two spots, as small forward Zaccharie Risacher of JL Bourg in France maintains his place at No. 1 while Perth center Alex Sarr lands at No. 2. The duo to watch, though, could be a couple of Kentucky Wildcats who have a good case as top-five picks.

Projected 1st-round pick Bobi Klintman plans to enter NBA draft

Swedish wing Bob Klintman, a projected first-round pick, told ESPN he has submitted paperwork to the NBA office to make himself eligible for the 2024 draft. Klintman spent this past season in Australia with the Cairns Taipans as part of the NBL's Next Stars program. He averaged 9.7 rebounds and 4.8 rebounds in 21 minutes per game, shooting 36% for 3. He joined Cairns after electing to depart Wake Forest University following his freshman season. At 6-foot-10, Klintman has impressive size, length, and explosiveness for a perimeter prospect. He can play either the small forward or power forward positions while offering versatility as a 3-point shooter, above-the-rim finisher, and playmaker defensively. He was productive against high-level competition this season and has the potential to continue to grow as he gains strength and experience long-term.

The NBA Draft will be held over two days in New York City on June 26 and 27. The first round will be conducted at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, followed by the second round the next day at ESPN's studio in lower Manhattan.

2024 NBA draft: What NBA executives are saying about USC's Bronny James

USC's season came to a close Thursday afternoon at the Pac-12 tournament in a 70-49 loss at the hands of top-seeded Arizona. With the end of USC's arduous 15-18 season comes draft decisions for the team's NBA prospects. Projected lottery pick Isaiah Collier is expected to enter the 2024 draft. A different type of decision process awaits Bronny James, whom NBA teams have long viewed as a candidate to turn pro following his freshman year, in large part because of the possibility of him joining a team alongside his father, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

James averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 25 games. While the numbers, in a vacuum, don't paint the picture of a one-and-done prospect, NBA teams have been preparing behind-the-scenes for James -- like any other prospect -- to ultimately enter the 2024 draft and explore professional opportunities. Whether he chooses to stay in the draft is less clear-cut at this point. Rich Paul, CEO of Klutch Sports and LeBron's longtime agent, told ESPN earlier this month that Bronny would make his decision based more on specific team interest and less on draft position.

Colorado's Cody Williams 'enjoying this moment' before NBA

A slew of injuries have kept Colorado freshman Cody Williams from fully displaying why he's a projected lottery pick for the upcoming NBA draft. A fractured orbital bone, a wrist injury and an ankle issue have limited Williams, who is ranked No. 7 in ESPN's draft ranking and is the highest NCAA player still playing in the tournament. Ahead of Sunday's game against 2-seed Marquette , the forward told ESPN that he feels he has done the necessary work to show why he should be one of the first players off the board. Williams, who is averaging 11.9 points on the season and is shooting 41% from behind the 3-point line, was on the Pac-12 All-Freshman team and was a McDonald's All-American coming out of Perry (Gilbert, Arizona) High School.

2024 NBA mock draft: Kentucky's prospects sent packing and Zach Edey's impressive tournament run

The NCAA tournament got off to a wild start on Thursday as No. 3 seed Kentucky was upset by No. 14 seed Oakland 80-76, behind an incredible shooting performance from Jack Gohike, who made 10 3s while scoring 32 points. This result put a major damper on NBA scouting this month, as Kentucky had the top two prospect in the NCAA tournament and seven of the top 33 prospects in the competition. Kentucky has been a poor defensive team all year and continued to show an alarming lack of attention to detail, allowing the Golden Grizzlies to get any shot they wanted all game. The Wildcats didn't make any in-game adjustments, as they were unable to match Oakland's scoring prowess while playing oversized lineups with too many nonshooters, shrinking the floor and making it difficult for their guards to find space to operate against Oakland's zone. ESPN NBA draft insiders Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo recap the first weekend of the 2024 NCAA tournament and provide an updated mock draft.
