I think to animate your Av you need to do two things.
1) go to the store and click on the "avatar options" button in the vPlaza menu. On that page you'll see all the things you can do with your av, click on the "upload animated av" button, and then buy it.
Then go to your user CP and find the gif file in your hard drive (not the jpeg, the animated one)... upload that using your "upload from computer" button, or use the upper field to just hotlink the image from the web (the way Im doing with mine)
The restrictions are it must be 180x180 size and 16.1 kb filesize, any bigger and HAMBIL GETS AN ORGASM FROM YOU PUSHING THE BUTTON
But after you buy the option, it should say "can upload animated gifs until (one month from the time you bought it)
