*snort* Yeah, I havent done this for a while. :D

I've been thinking about sex and passion and love and lust and how they are all connected and how none of them are really all that great without the others and what should be the first of those 4 things experienced in a relationship.

I suppose lust comes first. The chemistry/attraction thing. But then what?

Lust, passion for that lust, discovery, trust, sex, further discovery, emotional depth, like (outside of liking the lust and sex), intimacy, mutual communication, evolution, and finally Love.

trust comes before emotional depth? interesting. Then at which point is the sex at it's best?

now that's an interesting question..one which I think will vary depending on one's gender..

The sex can be best anytime. I have to be honest, although I was smitten from the start I didn't really start truly loving this woman I'm married to until about 8 years ago.

In that sense you are speaking. I've always been attracted to her. She was my dream girl. Best. Girlfriend. Ever. Seriously it was like somone had woken me up, and I had been asleep before I met her. Crazy relationship first decade. Took the 2nd kid to put a damper on things, because then we were committed to a family. With just the baby we could still travel.

So...."responsibility" takes the starch right out of a relationship, and family replaces intimacy, for better or worse.

But still...whenever we get some alone time in the house :bigass:
