A serious question for any (D) voters...

...You know the 2008 election? When you said we couldn't vote for McCain because he was going to die any second now? Well it's been 7 years and he's still just as loud and stupid as ever. What gives? You promised me McCain would be dead by now.

It was probably more the scotch and Biden's birthday than anything McCain has done (oh, and the Trump comment), but yeah. For...years now, there's a good chance the press will use a quote from him on any political subject and it makes me wonder who is voting for him. Kudos for apparently sucking it up as a POW. But that doesn't make you qualified for...well, anything, really. The day he announced Palin as his running mate, I seriously considered voting for him. But he had far too many days between that day and Election Day, where he had a chance to say things to think "Yeah...No. " At the time I had a pretty good hunch Obama would fuck things up, but I knew McCain would fuck things up almost as much and I foolishly hoped 4 years of Obama would mean a lock for an (R) in '12.

But then the GOP ran the guy who couldn't beat McCain in '08. I held my nose and voted for him because some people I respected endorsed him and I knew how terrible Obama had been, but I wasn't real happy about it. I mean, not only was this guy not good enough to beat McCain, in a year where Obamacare was Obama's Kryptonite, the 'pubs decide "let's run the one guy they can say 'Obamacare was based on his plan for his state'"!?!?!?!? :bang:

'Obama' was more of a 'Bush' than 'Bush' ever was.

Next thing you know people will be suggesting their vote actually counts.
