So, is Vaughn really dead? Did he fake his own death to disappear? I can't believe they did that. But, this is Alias, after all....no one ever really stays dead.

And I can't remember, is Sarek still alive?

Well...in Entertainment Weekly's annual Fall TV issue (my favorite issue of the year!), JJ & Co. said that "Vaughn is an integral part of the show, and his status will be known by the second episode. Of course, this being Alias, that may completely change by episode 3."

I agree, they're pretty much bastards. I loved Alias, but now that Jen Garner's dirty laundry is all over the place, I can't separate her from the character. I can't help thinking how shitty it is that Jen got Michael Vartan fired because she couldn't deal with him. It's unprofessional, and a prime example why you shouldn't dip your pen in the company ink, so to speak.

The WORST part is that the storyline forces you to re-evaluate Vaugh's entire story arc. Was he always a bad guy? Did he always have ulterior motives? It makes his arc totally different, and, IMHO, not nearly as good. Meh.

Let's face it, the show has been going downhill since mid season 3. I have NEVER said this about a show I like but...I hope Alias ends after this season, rather than go on in mediocrity.

Garner divorced her hubby, Scott Foley, because she became romantically involved with Vartan. Vartan loved her, but Jen fell in love with Affleck while they were filming DD. She's married to Ben, having his baby girl, and so now she feels uncomfortable filming love scenes or even working with Vartan. So instead of sucking it up, she had him fired. ]

You shouldn't play around with people's livelihood like that. I makes you look like an unprofessional bitch.

Hmm...I was unaware of the tension. I didn't sense any of it during their scenes together last Thursday. But what the hell do I know? :)I liked the beginning of last season, but then it got kind of bizarre.

IMHO, the best season-ender was when Sydney woke up with no memory of where she'd been for two years. Awesome. But the show has really gone downhill after SD-6 was eliminated.

Alias is the perfect example of a series that is past its prime.

I missed last Thursday's episode due to going out and partying, but I got the details from my parents who are also obsessed with the show. I understand someone else left the show, right?

Yes, the best finale was her waking up after killing her *cloned* friend and having lost two years of her life.

Who should be working, but is too damned tired to practice an NBA game.

^^Are you a cheerleader??

Yes, Greg Grunberg's character, Eric Weiss, left the show for a big promotion. He'll be "steps away from the President". This doesn't fit with his character, he wouldn't just leave Nadia in a coma.

The good news is, Amy Acker is this week's episode, playing a baddie!

^LOLOLOL!!!

No, I'm a closed-captionist and I'm doing my sports training right now. But, if you have some cheerleader fantasies, I'm sure I could pull a couple of strings fo ya. <g>

Amy Acker as a baddie?? Will she be blue? ;)
