Their client hit my new car last week. The damage is light, only about $350, and one really has to look to see what is damaged. But, the cretins say they are only 85% responsible because of the conflict in my story and their client's story. Plus, the pictures their adjuster person took don't show the damage in true light. The fact is the punk failed to yield to my right of way. Because 15% of the damages is less than my deductible, my insurance company isn't even interested in getting involved.
So, now I have to get evil and make them pay $50 something dollars and pay for a rental car while mine is the shop for the body work. It truly is the principle of the thing.

Plus, this is the best part -
the kid backed out of a parking space and hit me as I passed behind him. He was parked in the parking lot at the building where I work, which is also where the Municipal Courts are. He was there to pay a traffic ticket!!!!!
On top of that, the passenger in the kid's vehicle pushed back in the part of the fender that wrapped around to the side where they hit me, tampering with evidence.
The adjuster's supervisor is supposed to call me tomorrow about my dispute. We'll see.

I may wind up doing that.
After I hear from their supervisor, get copies of their pictures, get input from my insurance guy after he does some digging, then I'll draw up evidence for them - pics, charts, the whole 9 yards - and we'll see. I'll have to charge them for the cost of drawing up the evidence too. They are about to meet me when I'm not nice.

Okay. Got some action today. I had the supervisor in tears - "We are honest. We did the right, the fair thing." I almost felt bad for her but she had just said to me, "You will not talk down to me like I am a child." Oh, yes, I fucking will when you are trying to dick me around.
Now they have decided they will come out and physically investigate the case.
Little do they know but I have already won. That $50 they were trying to save themselves - its ate up now in more administrative and investigative costs.
