Announcement! I've got the ring and we've set the date!!

I just got a beautiful 2kt round set in yellow gold from my wonderful boyfriend turned fiance. We've set the date for June 14, 2008. So now on top of caring for my niece and nephew I'll be planning my wedding. Thank God for Momzilla...I picked a color and now she's doing most of the planning. One of the first things I want to do is see if my cousin the jeweler can find me a 2kt emrald cut set in white gold, real white gold not dipped. I love my ring but even my fiance knows what he got is not what I really wanted.

*sigh* I'm so happy. :bigass:

LMAO! I'd never get married just because I was pregnant, that's crazy and juvenile. I'm a grown woman with superior knowledge of birth control so no babies here. Thank God too, pregnant, have a baby, AND plan a wedding, screw that.

Pictures are coming mm and you KNOW I'll post a whole photo album of wedding pictures. I think my handsome groom will surprise people. ;)

And of course, thank you all for your congrats!

Ps. Jack--I'm going from wedding dress to naked, there'll be no romantic frilly piece of crap, sorry.

Anyhow, I'm loaded down with magazines and an organizer. Most important of all I've secured the priest! Mother Kelli Grace, the former deacon of my church now the vicar at another church in the area. I'm very happy about this development.
 
^Awww, sad. Well, Mother Kelli Grace is young and has young children so God forbid.

The colors are lavender and pearl with hints of royal purple. The color had to be a summer color and then it just so happens to match with royal purple which was my mom's wedding color. So a little ode to my mom in there.

We're going to have the wedding and reception at my parent's country club.

No, I scanned my hand and it worked better then when I tried to take pictures of the ring. I'll see if BDM has time to post the pic for me. No judging though, I need a fill and my nail tech had a family emergency.
