Anyone Been to a Carnival Lately?

Oh my gosh! I had pretty much put a ban on all carnivals after some scary situations we'd happened to get caught up in the past couple of times we'd gone, but I actually asked Mox to take me to the city's 4th of July carnival today.

I rode on the Tilt-A-Whirl and some ride called Wipeout, and...*gasp*...I actually got on the Ferris Wheel, too! For anyone that knows me...they know I am super scared of heights. I was freaking out at first, but then I got over it and really enjoyed looking at the scenery.

Oh well, just thought I'd share!

Rommie- That's how much we spent. It was totally worth it, too. They had more police around this time and things were much more in control than in years past.

I think they've stepped things up a bit since our town ended up in Texas Monthly for our big 4th of July celebration. *Gag* It gets kind of old when you're around it EVERY year, though.
