In office for less than two months, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is already making her presence felt throughout Washington, D.C. Now, she will star in her own comic book.

Devil's Due Comics has announced Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Freshman Force, a one-shot special commemorative issue, will be released on May 15. Featuring an all-star lineup of creators, including Jill Thompson (Scary Godmother) and Jose Garibaldi (The LEGO Movie 2), the issue will feature an anthology of short stories as the Congresswoman takes on the GOP in heroic, satirical adventures. The variant cover illustrated by Tim Seeley (Hack/Slash) is below:

As far as the comic book? That's a hoot. Painting her up like some kind of superhero -- she's a fool, and fools are idolized by fools.
 
It's a great comic. That's what comics are supposed to do. Entertain. As far as the rest, she is in power now. In fact the reason Pelosi is speaker is because she beat that 10 term incumbent by how many percentage points was that again? Watching you folks froth about it is also entertaining.

They're not. They never were supposed to be, and they are not now, nor will they ever be, our "leaders". They are our representatives. We don't work for them. They work for us. They don't fucking tell us what to do.

Now, maybe you have lost sight of that, and it sure as shit looks like this spoiled little moronic brat never knew it, but the rest of America knows it, and she's setting herself up for a seismic-ass fuckin' pimpslap that'll educate her on the topic.

She's kind of hot but in a somewhat annoying way, like that girl we all went out back in the day with who paid for a pack of cigarettes in pennies, and who was extremely loud.

I'd still probably taste her taco, though.
