‘Struggling’ netballers turn to ‘bank of mum and dad’ as ‘ugly’ pay spat finds support
Australian netballers have been forced to turn to the “bank of Mum and Dad” as the Super Netball pay dispute shows no signs of a fast resolution.
Players haven’t been paid since their current Collective Players Agreement (CPA) ran out on September 30 – and can’t be paid until a new deal is put in place.
But the dispute is headed to mediation as the Australian Netball Players Association (ANPA) and Netball Australia can’t come to an agreement over a revenue share model.
