And somehow enough people watch it that it keeps getting renewed. It's so bad it's good. Your rooting for something bad to happen to the ship or the ship gets destroyed. It's the anti-Orville. I already watched all of Season 2, so if there is a Season 3, that's partly on me.
 
I actually thought season 2 was a decent amount better than season one. They gave Laurie some very funny lines and his delivery was always great. It felt a bit more focused? It had a theme of everyone always electing terrible leaders then doing the same thing again after everything went to shit. It did feel cheaper than season one though and some of the characters are still too slight. I don't know, maybe lowered expectations helped.
