Batwoman

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
DOESN'T start this week in the UK because no one has the rights to it, for some reason. I'm going to have to watch it as it's part of the big crossover and I think I'll start it sometime this week to keep pace with the others.

Or you could do like I do with Arrow. Just watch the Batwoman crossover episode.

I watched the first episode. It was very rushed, like all the first episodes of these shows seem to be, as they introduced every character AND their twist all in one episode (her stepsister is shallow! No wait, she isn't!) Most cringey bit was the flashback to breaking up with her girlfriend with the sad pop song playing over it. Just felt jarring. Ruby Rose is definitely a bit wooden (and hot) but so was Stephen Amell at the start of Arrow. Hopefully she'll improve as much as he has. Alice was quite fun for a silly villain. I'll keep watching because why not.

She had much better chemistry with the barwoman character than she does with the ex girlfriend. But they got rid of her already...

This show is actually quite good. Alice is one of the best villains the Arrowverse has had in a while. Ruby Rose is really good looking (and her acting isn't that bad!)

Crisis Part 2

Jon Cryer is a really good fun Lex.

This episode was mostly just random cameos (did we need Jonah Hex's scar's origin?) and scenes stuck together but it was entertaining! The Smallville part was the best section for me, as someone who suffered through ten seasons of that show.

I probably won't watch Batwoman again until E4 catches up with this point, see you then.

I don't know what is happening half the time! I hope they get Oliver's soul back.

Sky just went straight to the flash episode without even a recap, so much wouldn't make sense without this episode.

I was wondering how they'd deal with it. Turns out their plan was just to pretend part 2 never happened.

That happened today. Looks like they didn't even show the Crisis episode at all, so the ending of the episode is going to be really confusing to E4 viewers (assuming Beth comes from another universe.)

Season two starts on E4 tonight. I'll watch it because I have no life? Even though it's stupid that they're bringing back Kate with a new actress even though the show has a new main character. But yeah. The supporting cast were good in season one. If it's bad I can just look at the internet.

Thanks for the heads up, I gave up on this after a few episodes, I don't like the hero or the villain so that didn't give me much incentive to keep with it

It looked really cheap, especially after watching Falcon and Winter Soldier. I know it's not fair to compare a CW show to a Disney+ show but I'm going to do so anyway! The new lead seemed like a better actress than Ruby Rose at least. They got around having "Bruce Wayne" appear without it really being him (why is he the only character who's never allowed on these shows?) Alice STILL being the vllain is pretty silly. I don't know I'll keep watching due to the aforementioned lack of life.

This show isn't bad but it's not really good enough to recommend either.

Still haven't gotten to the point where the "new" Kate has done anything (but I know she's alive) still not sure why they brought in a new lead if they were just going to recast Kate anyway.
