BB16 US - Week 1 (Premiere)

Wed. night - 8 of the 16 contestants move in: Frankie, Amber, Devin, Cody, Donny, Nicole, Paola, and Joey.

I love Donny. I love Frankie. I like Joey but I can tell she's going to be a pain.

Everyone is lusting after Cody, but he's a 23 year old Jersey boy and has no personality. I think once Zach moves in, they will have trouble telling Cody and Zach apart unless they are shirtless.

Frankie won the first HoH comp (YAY), and they learned about the twist where there will be a 2nd HoH from the next 8 people moving in tomorrow.

This new Team America twist, where we vote people into a secret alliance and help them in the game, is dumb and confusing. I hate it.

The 9 people decided to stick together against the next 8 people in case they were going to have to be teams opposing each other. They called themselves The Crazy 8's (unoriginal).

Paola talked the 4 girls into forming their own girl-power alliance -- she wants to call it El Cuatro. (Nicole was happy to be in it, but didn't know what Cuatro means)

Devin and Donny (!) also formed a secret alliance -- unexpected and interesting. I hope Donny goes far -- sometimes he plays up the Duck Dynasty bumpkin thing in the DR, but he really is like that the rest of the time. He's not an aspiring model/actor/reality famewhore like 80% of this year's cast.

Frankie's twitter following is already ridiculous -- #BBFrankie was trending all night in the US, moreso than the show's main tag #BB16.

Unlike how America and production helped out Elissa last year, I won't mind it so much this year if America (his sister's tweener fans) keeps Frankie in the house.

Night 2: The other 8 enter the house, have their own HoH comp, and RACIST HOMOPHOBE MURDERER CALEB wins.

That's about all that happened, other than Julie re-explaining all the twists and still failing to make sense of them.

But the live feeds started tonight, so I know lots of other things (these 2 premieres were taped days ago):

Caleb nominated Paola and Donny, Frankie nominated Christine and Derrick.

The nominees played the Battle of the Block comp, and Christine and Derrick won. This means that they are off the block, and Frankie (who nominated them) is no longer an HoH and can now be selected as a replacement nominee after the Veto comp (which is tomorrow).

Zach is a contemptable douchebag spoiled brat, but he's fun to watch get hyper as he gleefully schemes against people on the feeds. He and Frankie have a secret Final 2 deal already, and they are both in side alliances to cover it up.

This shit is already so confusing I may need to just not pay too much attention till the first eviction next Thursday. Then people will start summarizing all these events with bullet points and stuff.
