AS PROMISED
Marvel
Hawkeye - The BEST Marvel book going at the moment. Just lots of fun with great art and writing. Even if you think you hate Hawkeye you'll read this and say "actually, I don't hate Hawkeye anymore!"
Daredevil - This was 2011''s Hawkeye and it's still going strong. Takes the character away from the dark and gritty direction he's been going down and makes him FUN again (but still dark and gritty sometimes.) Lovely stuff.
Captain Marvel - Okay the first arc on this book was a bit disappointing but I still like the character and I think it's getting better and I have faith so support it.
Scarlet Spider- Yes, the best Spider-Man related book is actually about Peter Parker's once evil clone Kaine trying to make a new life for himself in Houston but being dragged into super hero stuff by his fun supporting cast. Better than you'd think!
Ultimate Spider-Man - The OTHER best Spider-Man book is the one where Peter's already been dead for a year (remember the BLACK SPIDER-MAN controversy? Well FUCK YOU controversy people.)
All New X-Men - This has been fun so far and I like how Bendis manages to annoy nerds.
X-Treme X-Men - A lighthearted, dimension-jumping X-Men title with Dazzler as the main character? SIGN ME UP.
X-Factor - Just found out Peter David had a stroke so I'm sad.
Dark Avengers - I read this because I liked Jeff Parker's Thunderbolts but EDITORIAL keep interfering and changing the cast and stuff and DON'T read the current Thunderbolts because it's written by Daniel "I'm a terrible writer" Way whereas the newly titled Dark Avengers will at least still be fun thanks to Parker.
Fantastic Four/FF - Two different books just relaunched with Matt Fraction of Hawkeye as the writer and I think they'll end up being fun though so far FF is a bit better (it stands for Future Foundation OKAY.)
AND LOOK OUT for Kieron Gillen's Young Avengers coming soon.
DC
Wonder Woman - I like all the Greek mythology stuff.
Batman Incorporated - I can't keep up with all the Batman stuff but I read this because of Grant Morrison and his entertaining weirdness.
(I don't really like DC to be honest.)
OTHERS
Saga - Brian K. Vaughan's sprawling space opera with wonderful art from Fiona Staples. Has a character named Prince Robot IV. Enough said.
Morning Glories - This is still pretty great and I have a good feeling that the (complex) still will all hold together in the end!
The Unwritten - It's a comic about literature and it's great. Menty even read it for a while! Menty!
The Walking Dead - This one is weird because sometimes many issues can go by without anything much actually happening, but I like that it's been going so long and has such an established cast of characters (who could all die any issue) and it's better than the tv show at its best.
Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye - Yes, really. Not just the best Transformers book since the Marvel book from the eighties, but one of the best comics today, packed full of humour and great characterisation. Okay, it's better if you're familiar with Transformers as it's full of references that you won't get otherwise, but it really is great.
Manhattan Projects - I'm not totally sure if this is actually "good" yet but it's very interesting at least!
