Bit Torrenting

I downloaded Azureus, and got the torrent for Dramatica Pro, but then the program just sat there for an hour at 0% downloaded doing nothing.
I finally turned it off.
Am I doing something wrong here?

It probably had nobody seeding it.

you need to look at how many seeds there are for the torrent file. a seed is a person with a full copy of the torrent, who is sharing it.

leachers or peers are people who are currently downloading the file. they automatically share what they have downloaded with everyone else.

If there were no peers or seeds, then nothing will download.

Also, check your firewall and router settings have unblocked the azeureus port on both UDP and TCP.

Also, check to make sure you're not behind a firewall or a router. If you are, you'll need to edit the firewall/router settings and implement port forwarding, which is something firewalls and routers use to make people want to smack their heads on the walls.

Of course, an easier way to get it would be to have me get it for you and put it on my thumb drive, then you take it home, install it and bring the thumb drive back.

Which is MUCH easier to explain than port forwarding.
