So Blake guesses Bruce is Batman, because he recognises the angry face pretending to be happy, so far, so good.

But he guesses that while he is at the orphanage.

Now those places tend to kick you out when you are 16, so he had to guess he was Bruce before then.

Plus he said he and the other kids used to pretend Bruce Wayne was batman and play games pretending to be him, that suggests he guessed at an even earlier age, probably pre teen, most likely single digits.

Now by the time of DKR Batman has been missing for 8 years, but prior to that he was Batman for two years at the very most, so the furthest back anyone could have heard of batman is ten years.

Blake is played by a 31 year year old actor, Bruce by a 38 year old.

Just how old is Blake meant to be in DKR?
 
I don't know, it's been a while since I watched it. I remember the script having "issues" for sure. The part with the cops being trapped in the sewers I remember being really really stupid for one thing.
 
And the worlds slowest missiles.

And Bruce climbing up all those bricks in the prison, then ignoring the fact those handy climable bricks go all the way to the top, so he can try and make a jump half way up.
 
Its ok, the CIA will give them a lift home, they never check anyone that gets on their plane, especially if they have a bag over their heads.
