BREAKING: Colin Powell Now Says He Was Fired

I highly doubt the Daily lunatics 'broke' anything. Maybe some mirrors while in straightjackets.
I remember the first year of Bush's presidency, article after article by empty-headed liberals screaming that Powell was going to quit in disgust, any day now. For the entire fucking year of 2001.
Powell served a full four-year term as Secretary of State, hardly the "rarin' to quit" attitude that the wacked-out liberals said he had. And reshuffling the cabinet every four years is a presidential tradition, many times over.
Bush critics clearly are out of their minds. Even after being proven dead wrong on Powell for years at a time, they stick to their wack conspiracy theories cause it's all they have.
Shrieking liberal lunatics like those at Daily Kos haven't proven they deserve to be let back into power. Quite the opposite. Stay on the fringe where you belong, foam at the mouth wack-jobs.

If it's anything that treats blacks like house slaves on the Plantation, it's the Democratic Party.
The Democrats know blacks will always vote Democrat, they have given them nothing but lip service for decades. They know they're in their back pocket, and that's all they do for them.
Nothing has harmed the black family more than some white Democrat telling them that they don't need black fathers to raise families, the government will do that for you. White Democrats have destroyed the black family. All they offer is slums, government projects, government cheese, and dependence on a monthly check. That is disgraceful, and a crime against all of those families.
People like Starguard hate Colin Powell and Condalezza Rice because these blacks made it to the top with their own hard work, no government handouts to get them there. Democrats only like blacks that were bought and paid for by their own "compassion", compassion being slavery to the Democratic party's social programs. And there is no breaking those chains.

Must be weird to live in a world which is so black and white. My side can do no wrong, everything they do is for the cause, for truth for justice, the American way. Now, those who oppose me in any way... they are responsible or helping everything bad, evil and cruel in the world. No matter what happens under any conceivable circumstance those who oppose us would have done a million times worse no matter what.

Interesting. Powell says in his biography that he made it clear to the President that he didn't want to stay into the next term. He expected the President to ask him to stay, and he would have if asked. However, he was asked for his resignation instead, and to stay until his replacement was confirmed. Hmmm... not quite the same as being "fired", "axed" or anything else nefarious. Powell made it clear to his boss before he was re-elected that he didn't want to stay. If I had the most important job in the country, I'd only want people around me who wanted to be there, otherwise I'd have little to no confidence in them. I like Powell, but, since he made it clear he wanted out, I'd have let him out too.
