Can I make Spice Cake any better?

I don't recall eating spice cake as a kid, but I have made it twice now and I love it so much.
Do you love it?
I don't think I should add carrots ever-because then it would just be Carrot Cake.
What is the best kind of frosting for spice cake?
I want to try an orange spice frosting. Mmmmmmmmm so good.

My spice cake will have red hot cinnamon and sriracha frosting and contain super hot peppers like ghost pepper and Carolina Reaper.
