Can we all just agree that Jesse Eisenberg is a terrible actor?

Big Dick McGee

If you don't know, now ya know
I mean, Jesus fuck, his sister was better in those Pepsi commercials in the '80s. He's like a more annoying Michael Cera.

Is he gay? I get the vibe that he's gay but is too "private" to come out, which is stupid if he is. I'ma google that shit.

He's straight and very cerebral, so he's probably moody and a little snotty too.

BUT I CAN DREAM THAT HE IS BETTER THAN THAT.

He's also a playwright and puts on his plys Off-Broadway, so maybe some gender fluidity is creeping in there. WE SHALL SEE.

(I miss Henoch)

Why do terrible female actors at least have to be hot, but there's no hotness requirement for terrible male actors? THIS IS A TRAVESTY :rwmad:

He was good in The Social Network, but I guess playing an emotionless prick is fairly straightforward.

He was good in Adventureland the year before Social Network, where he pined over Kristen Stewart for 2 hours and finally got shirtless with her at the end. SPOILERS!

I remember finding his voiceover annoying in Zombieland.
He was good in Adventureland I think? But Michael Cera would have been just as good (I was mostly watching for K-Stew.)
He was good in Social Network but the character seemed quite close to how he is in real life?

He auditioned for Jimmy Olsen in BVS (Snyder had the "brilliant" idea of casting a big name as Jimmy Olsen then killing him off right at the start of the movie for shock value because optimistic comic relief characters like Jimmy Olsen have no place in his movies) and was acting all nervous and fidgety in the audition. Snyder decided somehow that this would make him a perfect Lex Luthor so they cast him instead of Bryan Cranston.

Bryan Cranston would have been a hell of a lot better.

Although if its like the other film I saw him in, he will be in it for a few minutes, then get killed, and be replaced by Jai Cortney.

WAIT, WHAT DID YOU SAY??!?! Zack Snyder went with Jesse Eisenberg instead of Bryan Cranston? Dear God, it's worse than I thought, the man clearly is a crack addict.

I do not necessarily agree. Jesse Eisenberg played a horrible "Lex" Luthor, but playing Alexander Luthor it was an interesting take on the character. The movie had about a million problems, but I didn't have a problem with Lex. He reminded me of that supersmart kid in every class you ever had whose entire identity rested on his GPA. Kind of kid you always knew was going to either invent something ingenius or commit suicide the first time he pulled a B -, probably in shop class. The kind of kid who had to eat lunch with the teachers because he spent all the rest of his time stuffed in a locker. Autistic savant kid. It was the first time I ever saw a Luthor that was obsessed for reasons other than his own ego.

Yep, that guy.
