Canada - what has it ever given to the world?

Can you name any great scientists, thinkers, writers, artists, philosophers, musicians (well Neil Young's OK I suppose) that the icy wasteland nation of Canada has produced?

Also, Canada entered and fought in both World Wars, whilst the cowardly Americans sat upon their asses, waiting until the foe was soundly beaten before FINALLY entering said wars. Canada was the first to send soldiers to Korea. As for Vietnam, that was the USA's problem, not ours. We are also known as the ONLY military force to defeat the Americans on their home soil.
 
While that may have been the case for WWI, WWII was a different story altogether. IIRC, the Axis Powers still had the upper hand when America entered the war.

Damn, you failed history I see. That must be what they are teaching in American schools, more propaganda. I know for a FACT the Axis powers were being soundly beaten. Remember, unlike you, my family actually took part in the war, and my familial homeland was the main target of Germany. It is we who forced the Nazis into attacking the Soviets. Never forget it. We Canadians were there from the moment Hitler moved into Poland, whilst you cowards were shaking in fright in your bathrooms, shitting your asses.

Both Bell and Marconi LIVED IN CANADA, to the point they were Canadian citizens. I KNEW your dumb ass was going to fall into that trap. Anyone stupid enough to believe the Axis powers were still a threat when the Americans entered WWII would fall for this.

95% of Canada is uninhabitable wasteland. Nothing you can say will change that fact.

And you still haven't convinced me that Canada has contributed anything worthwhile to the world in any of the fields that I mentioned.

That is because you failed both history and geography in school. The majority of Canada is habitable, more so than the USA. Look it up.
 
Someone is upset at having been a victim of the USA's errant economy, whilst Canada continues to bustle, thanks to our commodities. Shit, soon, we will be purchasing the entire United States with our pocket change, and turning it into our own parking lot.

I've become rather fond of a Canadian or two.

Nothing feels as good as a warm Canadian Beaver on a rainy night. With those long, cold winters spent indoors, they have little to do other than refine their "skills".
