So oz is being ripped apart at the seams atm over the carbon tax
Everyone is pissed off, no one has any answers other than spin, our industry's are being slashed & divided up with corporations being charged like a raging bull to operate, who are passing it on to the citizens, increasing costings, on top of a flat carbon tax.
Additionally our mining industry is completely unscathed, paying no increase in tax or subjected to carbon pricing, with the customer base being china and india.
So not only is the earths highest grade uranium being mined for nothing, but its being sold tax & carbon tax free to the biggest polluters, china and india who are not required to pay for any of their pollution & massive upscaling of industry, while oz is bled dry of all wealth & potential earnings, with our industry's being systematically dismantled under the carbon tax.
I just heard some brittish chancellor tell australia that developing nations such as china & india are exempt from the coming global carbon tax due to the millions living in poverty & tending their needs requires the cheapest energy possible & how dare anyone tell them they are mismanaging their populations or that they must pay a carbon tax for their industry & production.
so the nations with the greatest populace & highest levels of pollution are excused from responsibility, while the developed nations with millions less in population, need to make up the short fall in the middle of a fucking economic collapse.
It could just be me, but this seems like nothing more than the smoothest method to redistribute wealth globally.
Funny shit, considering the company responsible for charging nations and conglomerates a carbon tax & who is responsible for pricing it, is singularly owned an oil baron who moved all company activities to china in 2000.
Could it be that china & india's population management was nothing more than preparation for a global village with these 2 masses of population being the worker bee's for the rest?
How far does this rabbit hole go?
Anyone who thinks global governance is a fairy tale is bloody dreaming.
