Darnold has TD, Mayfield solid in preseason opener
Mayfield started and completed four of seven passes for 45 yards. Darnold finished 2 of 3 for 16 yards. Wentz was 10 of 13 for 74 yards for the Commanders.

Week 2: Aug. 19 at New England L
Mac Jones solid, Panthers pause QB battle in Pats' 20 - 10 win
Mac Jones completed a 45-yard pass to set up a touchdown in his first game action of the preseason. Walker was 8 of 15 for 107 yards and two interceptions. Corral finished 9 of 15 for 58 yards for the Panthers.

Journeymen Josh Johnson leads Broncos' backups past Cowboys 17-7
Johnson, who's 36 years old and playing for his 14th NFL team, threw a pair of first-half touchdown passes. Cooper Rush got the start for Dallas and was 12 of 20 for 84 yards and an interception. Broncos QB Russell Wilson sat this one out along with Cowboys QB Dak Prescott.

Ka'Vontae Turpin has kickoff, punt return TD's: Cowboys beat Chargers 32-18
The Dallas wide receiver became the first player in nine seasons to have kickoff and punt return touchdowns in the same game. the last player to run back a punt and kickoff in the same game — preseason, regular season or playoffs was Detroit's Jeremy Ross on Dec. 8, 2013, against Philadelphia.

Yes! The Cowboys traded Herschel Walker and won 3 Super Bowls in 4 years. I think Elliott is done. That's what happens win you get paid-in-full. Jerry Jones worked his ass like a government mule during his rookie contract. Now Elliott is playing laid-back, with his mind on his money and his money on his mind.
