It was okay. Not sure if it's worth anyone downloading, but if it comes on the tv or Netflix you wouldn't hate it.

By the time the second part of this was nearly over, I was wishing it would HURRY UP and be over. Part one was okay, not great or anything, but definitely watchable, could see the potential, but it's getting messy and kinda silly.

Do the aliens look good?

No, fuck no. The only alien we've seen so far is like a cartoon version of the devil. OMG I just found out the alien is played by Charles Dance! I never read the book, is he supposed to look like the devil?

They look kind of like demons yeah, the main character sees what they look like and doesn't tell anyone becaue he knows it would be fucking scary.

That part did happen in the first episode, but now everyone knows what he looks like. The show is making it seem like there is only the one alien doing all the things, but I guess he's just the one overlord for earth.

I think in the book everyone finds out eventually and it's meant to be a sign that they've visited us before and been interpreted as demons.

I read the short story first and liked it, but the full novel just went on way too long. So maybe quite an accurate adaptation.

AAAAHHHHH, WHAT WAS THE POINT OF ALL THAT?

There were some good moments, Ricky's scenes with his dead wife were well acted and emotional, but still WHAT WAS THE POINT? Milo at the end, staying behind while the Earth was destroyed was also good, but also POINTLESS. Shit, go with the demon aliens and see the universe!

I do not understand why they did what they did. I know Karellen said humans were developing dangerous technology but why not just take that away? I don't get it!

No, IMO! I mean, there are probably people who really liked it, so maybe 6 hours of tv would be worth $10 to them, but I wouldn't pay it.
