Let's avoid the easy "an old man couldn't really live on the moon! I think NASA would have spotted him before some little girl!" type criticisms, please. I think we're better than that!
 
I avoided it almost all of yesterday. Guess what? It's a soft, vulnerable female voice singing a rock cover. In addition there is a rather vague story about an old lonely bloke - now how do we solve his loneliness? BUY HIM SOME STUFF! Excellent, now he can be lonely with STUFF rather than with other people.

I would like to hate it, but my emotions are not strong. I will endeavour to do a full critique!
 
I quite like it. There must be so much pressure on them now to make something memorable and emotive, and this is a pretty good attempt. A lot of people seem to be complaining about the science not making sense, to which I'd ask them what they thought of the living snowman in a previous advert.
 
yeah, it was a really sweet commercial and I felt sad for the little girl and the lonely grandpa. The ad seems to be saying not to forget about your loved ones who are far away, GET THEM STUFF TOO!
