CNN anchor takes Israeli spokeswoman to task

CNN anchor: “[Hizbullah’s rockets] are crude rockets, aren’t they? and after all, their impact has been minimal compared to the impact of Israeli strikes on Lebanon.

Explain something to us, why would you not try to be shooting these Katusha missiles, or rockets I should say – they’re not missiles at all - they’re rockets. Why would Israel not be trying to shoot them out of the sky? They have the capability to do that.

Israeli spokeswoman: No, Rosemarie, these are Katusha rockets which they fire a barrel a dozen and the fact that there haven’t been casualties in Israel shouldn’t necessarily be held against us . . .

WRONG!!! It should be held against Israel because in order to justify a claim of self-defense you must use only the force necessary to repel the degree of force being threatened against you. The force used in "self-defense" must be proportionate. In other words, if there are little or no actual casualties in Israel, then Israel is charged with that knowledge and must be held accountable for excessive force used to defend against it.

She'll lose her job because the Jews in the United States will call her an anti-Semite, because she dared to question the motives and actions of Israel. How dare she!

So CNN thinks it's Israel's fault that Hezbollah doesn't have high quality rockets? I guess Israel should be blamed for Hezbollah's lack of aiming these rockets at military targets, they just randomly launch them into Israel hoping to hit civilians.

When people blame Israel for everything (including the quality of Hezbollah's rockets????!), you have to wonder what intellectual content they bring to the debate.

Read the article, you Israel apologist! What the CNN anchor questioned was why Israel deemed it necessary to bomb the shit of civilian areas in Lebanon, in supposed "retaliation", when, in fact, none of the Hizbollah rockets have done even a tenth of the damage of the Israeli missiles, and the Hizbollah rockets could have simply been shot down.

Get your fucking blinders off and realize the Israel is just as culpable in the blooshed engulfing the Middle East as Hizbollah is culpable.

Hezbollah deliberately fights from civilian areas, to win the 'P.R. war' with braindead dupes who swallow anything terrorists tell them. If you swallow anything islamic terrorists tell you to think, raise your hand!

'Could have simply been shot down.'

They've fired thousands of missiles, with what were they going to shoot them down with?

It may be simple to you, but that technology is only simple on Star Trek. This is reality.

Peace and a ceasefire will occur when Hezbollah stops kidnapping soldiers and firing missiles into Israel.

Why shouldn't any of the pressure be on Hezbollah? You can't answer that because you don't dare.

YEH!

Bombing first, ceasefire later!!!

Bombing will solve the problem!! No-one will want to join Hizbollah after having themselves bombed into submission and members of their family killed. It's all so fuckin simple! Whay hadn't anyone thought of this before?
