Coffee

Do you like hard coffee?
I like wet coffee
white and creamy sweet wet coffee
sometimes cold
served over ice

Walking down the aisle
in the store
where all of the coffee beans are
I pick up a bag
squeeze it
sniff
mmmmm
yes
I pick up another bag
squeeze it
mmmmmm
yes!
I do it again and again
mmmmm Yeah, Yes, OH god, Yum! Mmmmmmm!

I quit coffee for the longest time.
Now I'm drinking it again. Why?
I know it's no good for me.
But I keep coming back.
For another cup.

I've been getting Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Sumatran blend, and Starbucks Espresso, both in full bean form. I use a full grinder of the Sumatran, and a half grinder of the Espresso (both coarsely ground), while I'm boiling the water for the french press.

Once the water boils I pour 8 cups worth on the pyrex measuring thingie there and stir for a minute, then let it sit for 5.

Press s l o w l y. I add a little fat free half and half and it's just the best cuppa evar.

I drink Maxwell House Master Blend or Original Blend Ground Coffee mostly. Though the occaisional Hazelnut or Green Mountain French Toast coffee from the food pantry is nice.

My Heart yearns for coffee everytime I pass starbucks or see someone drinking it...but I have forced myself to stop

I have banned myself from it because over the years I have become so obsessed with it that I could not do ANYTHING without at least one hit of the stuff on a daily basis..

Whenever I passed a coffee machine, the very scent of it was like a magnet to my nose and taste buds. This was something that my body absolutely demanded, and simply refused to function without.

Coffee to me had become like crack to an addict. This all started when I was in the army where I started drinking it to stay awake. Little did I know that not only is caffeine addictive, it also dehydrates you if you don't remember to drink an adaquate amount of water afterwards...

Since my own self-banishment from it years ago, I have found myself endulging in many varying subsitutes ranging anywhere from tea (which has almost the same amount of caffeine that coffee does) to 5 and 7 hr energy drinks that are almost 100% caffeine.

Seeing that caffeine is something that I will never be able to escape no matter how hard I try, I have been contemplating on retuning to the wonderful world of Java. My only "and biggest" fear, is that if I do allow myself to return...this time... there will be no turning back. :(

Being a caffeine addict is A GOOD THING.

Well you technically can't be a caffeine addict because it's not addictive. Nor does it dehydrate. SO DRINK IT.

Chris Rock can levitate and has an arsehole that shoots a fatal laser.

Sorry if this is off-topic but I feel it needed to be said.
