As far as we are aware Shattered Corpse was started as a spin-off of Troll Kingdom in order to provide "gentler" entertainment for the posters.

Our research has uncovered a possible dark underbelly in its operations.


Our first attempt at going about anonymous registration was stymied. The account has been untouched by the administrators at Shattered Corpse. It has not been activated.


Our second attempt was to register as a poster at Troll Kingdom which has yet to register there, someone known to be friendly and non-imposing. The account has also not been activated. It has in fact, been removed, possibly because it did not have the IP and e-mail address of the genuine TK poster.

How, and why, are the questions which we must ask.



Caitriona​

We are told Caitriona has left Troll Kingdom. How is it then that she can confirm which poster is which based solely on one of instance e-mail and IP address information?

What if Caitriona has not given up her Troll Kingdom administrator status?

What if Caitriona is using Troll Kingdom to compare hidden information among registrants?

Compare this to Caitriona's tainted past, and at least one instance of her exchanging personal IP information with a non-administrator at Troll Kingdom.



Hambil​

According to the information available to us, Hambil has in the past lied regarding his status at Troll Kingdom. Despite claiming to have been demoted, a group of posters, most notably "Jack", discovered that they were not able to add him to their ignore lists, with the reason cited being that he is still an administrator or moderator.

These means of discovering who is an administrator or moderator at Troll Kingdom has since been removed, so there is no telling who is still an administrator and who is not.



Lover of Purple​

Lover of Purple is an administrator at ExIsle and has access to the e-mail and IP address information of members there. Because of Shattered Corpse's rigorous confirmation process it is likely that LoP gives the nod to other admins if a registrant from ExIsle is the genuine article.

What this means is that the admins at SC have access to the e-mail and IP addresses of posters at ExIsle. Whether or not LoP is abusing EI admin powers for the benefit of SC is in the eye of the beholder.




Loki|Eggs Mayonnaise​

Although not a member of the Shattered Corpse staff, there does exist the possibility that he may in the future provide sensitive information to Caitriona regarding registration. Our dossier on this person is thin, so we choose not to speculate too intensively at this time.




Given Shattered Corpse's isolation from the rest of your Internet community, and the fact that random members are not permitted to join, there is a strong possibility that personal information is being disseminated and compared by the parties involved in its operations.
 
I just automatically assumed that Caitriona was still an admin here, and that she does compare TK IP addresses and emails to her board's registration process.

I didn't think of it myself, but it would be pretty fucked up to let her ride her adminship to assist her board in keeping in troll-free, all the while not doing anything to earn maintaining such a position.
 
I recognise the use of "us" and "we" a lot. Now, who does the old troll trick of appearing to represent a larger group?

Dude, they activated my account in like, 30 seconds. And no, that's not an exaggeration. And I've been on record calling Cait and the EI adminstration all sorts of nasty names.

I get the feeling that they just don't like you, whoever you are.

Caits board used to be a lot tighter and more of an invite only thing. After Coyote_Ugly spammed it a few times they became more rigorous in their screening.

It seems they're just continuing with what they did before, unless you had used an obvious proxy.

Isn't ShatteredCorpse is owned by missmanners? I didn't expect it to have such a long history that it would involve CU.

I've always known it as Caits board, but it might be registered under the same fake name as TK.

It seems there's nothing older than August so this might be a new version of the board. CU hit it in early December of 2004.
