My external HD isn't being read by my computer any longer.

This after a few weeks of stopping mid-song while playing.

If anyone has a direct line to Ishcabittle, could you let him know I NEED his Mac expertise?

Crisis averted! I partially repaired permissions on the external, enough to back up the files on another HD. So that's what I'm doing now.
