Social media is just a way to fuel one's anger
but then there are people that will tell us
we aren't angry enough
they will point out our protest of one subject
but then ask
where were we when something else happened
or this
or that
I love it when people post a news article and then berate the media and anyone else for not "knowing" about it or talking about
people who post something happy and then something sad and then count the likes
and then post about it
These people are angry
mad
and they want me to be mad
I am not mad enough
aren't you mad?
It is so upsetting
we must all be upset
If you don't respond
you are a racist
who hates animals
and women
and children
if

snowflake
gentle
fragile
overly sensitive
pms'ing

not male

I want to just post happy pictures and flowers
and chat with my friends
about the hobbies

I'm sort of kidding about some of this
I get it
But I think there is a better way
then continuing to yell at each other

About 4 years back I decided to unfollow all political and news pages on FB. I only use FB to keep up with friends and family and share stuff in my life that they might like to keep up with.

I moved all my actual news 'news feed' over to twitter. Over time FB has learned not to promote friends political tweets as I don't engage with them. So I just their family life updates.

Most people I actually know, I don't actually care about their politics. And most people whose political opinion I want to keep up with I don't care about their personal life.

I've been quite happy since.
 
Pretty much. I use$ to be over at MySpace. I still am. I actually got one of the invites. turns out they redid it back in 2011 or 12 when Rupert Murdoch bought it.

I'm still at MySpace also. Haven't been back since i found out you could log into MySpace with your Facebook email and password.
