YES, after Connor was born and Angle and Lorne were singing to him in every episode and Angel had feelings for Cordy but Groo showed up so Angel got ANGSTY over them being all lovey-shitty and at the same time there was the fitFred/Gunn/Wes triangle BUT OF COURSE this was made up for by Angel trying to smother Wes with a pillow BUT I'M JUST SAYINg.
