Somebody PM me with the answer, have some specific private questions to ask about the spam policy in the Badlands. And no, I'm no bad guy. I'm not asking for nefarious reasons.
 
My cat weighs over six pounds now. I'm very glad; hopefully she'll get up to seven.

Yes, but indirectly. Those spam posts were deleted in Sept 2007 or something. I prefer my post count to reflect the number of posts I actually have on the board. I have a new question for Ilyanna or some other mod/admin.
 
Actually... I usually don't delete spam, as long as it isn't a flood spanning over 10 or 15 pages. The reason so many of your posts were deleted was that some people messed with the wrong buttons some time ago.

Only reason for a major Badlands makeover would be an imminent purge, but in that case I can only hope that we'd all be informed beforehand...
 
Thank you for the clarification. I do remember the circumstance of my long-ago spamming being deleted, and I don't have a problem with it. Well, I am still perturbed about my COCKwall being deleted but it isn't such a big deal. The other night I had an urge to spam but didn't really feel like spamming if it would just get deleted in the near future. That's all.

You may not delete it, but Admins can and have, which is why I gave that answer. They still will, too, if it's utterly useless and is more of a drain on server space. It's easier than archiving.

They should have at least restored your post count. Other boards don't adjust post count when you delete posts - even TrekBBS manages to get that right.
 
As does Scifi.com. I should have a post count in excess of 6000. I always thought it was a subtle way of telling people to leave.
