My lawyer says I can force the admins of Comicon.com to give me their identities, since they post from there too. He says if I'm successful in the lawsuit against the hotel (that one looks like a no-brainer) I can go after them for libel and defamation of character. So we'll see what the hotel does, ultimately. They may decide to swallow it all, because this is a VERY small town, and it's already become bigger drama than they're comfortable with.
Plus I'll know who they are IRL. Revenge will certainly be a chilled plate served at that dinner.
