For this script to work you will need the Firefox browser and the Greasemonkey extension.

After installing Greasemonkey, relaunch Firefox, then right-click the link above and select "Install User Script." Now whenever you browse to YouTube you will see a prominent red bar download link at the top of the screen.
Just navigate to whichever video you wish to download and click it. Voila.
