DVD Purchases

Closer isn't that great a movie really. It tries to be too arty and I just hate Julia Roberts. But it's not terrible though, watchable.

Oh, but Natalie Portman.... OMFG. All her bits are fucking awesome!


Garden State not only has Natalie Portman in it but it's also a kick ass movie. You will like that one a lot. Great soundtrack as well, Zach Braff is a genius. Writer, director and lead actor. It's funny as fuck in parts as well.
 
Closer looks like the sort of movie for Movie School students, but the clips I've seen interest me. For less than £7, it's worth a punt. And I've heard very good things about Garden State.

I suppose both will surpass the third movie I goy - Coyote Ugly, The Extended Version (C'mon guys, it's got fit birds in it, and wooden acting, what more do you need!?!)
 
Closer is an adaptation of a play. It come across as a little pretensious though. I just don't like Julia Roberts, she pisses me off no end. I don't understand her popularity. I enjoyed Natalies parts obviously especially because shes a freaking stripper in it but, well you will see what I mean.


Garden State was one of my favourite movies in 2005. It rules.
 
I saw the play when it came to New York, with Natasha Richardson, Rupert Graves, Anna Friel and Ciaran Hinds. It was quite chilling.
