Would be good, the US will get involved weather they publicise it or not.
The US is like teh devil u know....still a devil, but u know its tactics and generally they ahve an economic agenda, which cant be too bad for nations economic indipendence.
AS LONG AS THEY REMEMBER TO FEED AND LOOK AFTER THEIR PPLE FFS ITS A HUMAN RIGHT TO LIVE IN PEACE & HEALTH
Also, it will be interesting to see if this becomes religious and if teh Islamic brotherhood will assert itself. They have a homeland in Egypt; but they are nasty mofo's who will pursue the honour killing of a member across the globe & actively opressa nd terrorise individual pple, family's and children. God help u if a member is ur parent.
The west is asleep on the religious war front. Time to wake up fat cat westerners; just because ur wife & kids wern't raped and murdered for choosing a faith doesnt mean its not happening every day and pple of all religious walks are being brutalized & losing their life & freedom.

My local radio guy ran across a woman from this area who is teaching about two miles from the center of everything in Cairo. They've been calling her every day and its fascinating as hell getting the inside scoop. She has decided not to leave, and sometimes has been pretty spooked on the phone although she is stoic as hell, and very funny. Her name is Ann Justice, I would not be surprised to see her pop up on a national stage soon if things get worse. Some funny bits: there are neighborhood men protecting buildings with makeshift weapons like chains wrapped around broomsticks. Cairo is a metro area that has all sorts of international restaurants and entrees, but they're all Egypt-version and suck. Her anecdote of egyptian pizza (like a pita wiped in someone's trash can) and egyptian wine (tastes like robutussin, and not in a good way) was hilarious.
