Elmo Marketing

Unluckiest Charm in the Box
I am not sure how long this has been going on-but my first exposure was the other day at Wal-mart-they had elmo-dolls. They didn't specifically say "elmo" on them-but they didn't have to.
Then I went to Sesame Street-and they actually used the word "elmo" on several items.
They might as well have sold fucking razors called "elmo slashers" or something. OMFG!

Why? How? Why could they want to make money off of something like this? How could they encourage such a thing?

If I wasn't so apethitic atm and depressed I'd protest. But really I just want to slash kermits wrists right now and write some poetry.

The worst I ever saw was "Love Cuffs"

Little pink heart-shaped toy handcuffs

Sometimes fuzzy.

What are these preaks trying to teach our children?

You guys have the wrong toys clearly, and have been damaged by them.

It's just that they have more choice than hoops & sticks, lead soldiers, whistles, caps & dollies like they did back when you were young jack.

Have to admit, you made a cute kid, though.
