Eowyn 50% complete

Ok, I am putting the pencil down tonight. I thought I would give you a sneak peek. This is a very rough version of what the finished product will look like. I was getting a little lazy with the detail, especially on the Fell Beast so I am having a rest. Lots needs to still be done. A huge amount of shading, detail work, the wing of the Fell Beast, the background ect.

This really is a work in progress, you can see some of the more simple sketch lines. Eowyn herself is coming along nicely not too much more to do on her except fill some lines, add the shadows and refine the sharpness.

Anyway, enough babbling:

Saw that. It's good, but I like the Eowyn piece better. The expression on her face and her proportions are dynamite.

Yeah the proportions were a bitch. As was the expression on her face. I went through many different facial expressions before I nailed the one I wanted.

I wanted to get the dynamic feel of her off kilter as she is stunned by the sight of the Fell Beast.
