For I no longer wish to fraternize with it in any of it's varied yet obvious forms. Not least of which when I have to filter a percentage through sheer compromise to reach what I wish to take out of my own personal time spent.
If stupidity in people became more of a social/personal taboo in all classes and minorities then maybe shame alone would stop those from flaunting it so proudly, and perhaps instead create an atmosphere of focus and pride to achieve higher intelligence. Everything else will fall into place. All goals will be reached as a matter of natural course.
There is nothing rationally desirable that cannot be achieved sooner if rationality itself increases.
Even those people who sit in front of their monitors wagering the pro's and con's of creating another myopic, platitudinous dual to let loose on a board such as here on TK, or in any other instance feasibly imaginable are lacking in personal pride in the first place. They are trapped by their own stupidity and personal opinion of themselves to strive for a day when they can converse and carry themselves in any social situation with any self or socially perceived sophistication and respect.
But that sounds too much like hard-work. They themselves have accepted their own short-comings, they have given up which is yet another negative personal trait. So instead we will get rehashed posters and duals riddled with common vulgarity and tactics of annoyance popularized and patented by ten-year old's world wide.
Of course, there is also other factors to be brought in to understand the process, such as attention seeking traits and self amusement derived from asinine, lowbrow behavior.
The stupidicusdualacus believes reaction to his/her childish shock/derogative/crude behavior to be a low-cost amusement which requires little effort beyond sheer volume. Which brings me back to similar tactics used by small children to garner attention.
There is a sense of frustration that comes about from not being able to articulate onself and achieve accolades and social acceptance through intelligent discourse. So the stupidicusdualacus forces his/her stupidity and uncouth behavior upon a community to achieve recognition. The poster tells him/herself that he is funny and amusing. He may even share his stupid unarticulated attention seeking work with fellow peers who will also laugh at such behavior.

Because we live in a world where stupidity is not a taboo in average society due to the sheer percentage of intelligence lacking in the population of Earth itself it has become most unfortunately normality. Intellectualism while important in society is not as important as personal gain and image. I left school at fifteen without anything resembling an education. I have personally strived to learn and teach myself everything from the proper capitalization of a lone "I", to the currently accepted physical laws of the Universe. It's pride in yourself to be something more than the sum of your god-given parts. Something sorely lacking in society today.
Economic gain doesn't necessarily favour intelligence. If stupidity can become an unacceptable trait to have on the same level of say being fat or ugly then the world will become a better place. Ideas to abolish poverty and starvation will no longer seem utopian and impractical, even absurd.
Intelligence as a primary gain allows us to move towards a utopian world as a rather snazzy side-effect. If human stupidity in general decreased, there would be less opposition to original thinking and to new approaches to our old problems. If stupidity decreased, less money would be wasted on vast organized imbecility, such as the arms race, and more would be available for life-enhancing projects. Unfortunately many of the big money organizations profit from stupidity. On keeping the public sheep like and close-minded. Stupidity needs to be seen for what it is. Obsolete. It is certainly not profiting humanity as a whole.
So to all the low-brow posters and duals. You are a blight on not only yourselves but on all of us. I deplore you all.
