Having said that I'm not watching it.
 
It was really good! There were five or six entries that could've been very worthy winners. The winning Swedish entry wasn't necessarily the very best song of the bunch, but it was still quite catchy, well sung, had some very impressive stage graphics and an attractive singer.

Kind of disappointing that Russia didn't win so they could get trolled en masse next year, but there were more than enough not so subtle digs at them. The Russian vote announcer got his own back by awarding 12 points to... RUSSIA MAUAHAHA!!!

The UK entry was underwhelming. The 1940s vibe might've worked as a way to stand out and do something different, but the song itself wasn't memorable and didn't lead anywhere. You need a good key change. I don't think anyone really cares, though.
 
I managed to turn it on right when the UK entry started then turned over when it ended. HARSH, I know, but I couldn't be bothered listening to all the bad songs to find the few good ones. I agree with Bob Mortimer than the UK entry was a Birdseye Potato Waffles rip-off.

Was the attractive Swedish winner a boy or a girl?
 
While it was going on Tumblr was mad at the Swedish boy because "he's a horrible homophobe" but then a few minutes later they were saying OH he's fine he's not a homophobe after all. I don't know why they thought he was a homophobe in the first place.

Maybe he didn't support a "ship" in a certain "fandom".
