And just admitting people? Ah, no way at this point, just to my way of thinking- DS has already tried to open a new account - or so he has claimed - and thats not kosher - and to me does not show that he has any regard for EI, just getting what he wants. Which is not inclined to make me want him back in any way shape or form - and I don't think I can be faulted for not wanting back some one who obvioulsy has no regard for the guidelines of this community.

DS, it seems that you are the reason why they have shut down registration for six months. Or at least that’s their excuse this week.

Your pwnage of them continues.

The staff of EI is going to have to come to a decision: if they want a functioning community, as they claim, they're going to have to drop the bullshit act and carry on as if there are no worries. They are going to have to handle trolls in a timely and decisive fashion.

Heavy-handed tactics like: proxy checkers, restrictive registration, arbitrary application of a congested and burdensome guidelines is what's killing them and making them second guess every move. Until the staff finds their intestinal fortitude and decides "hey, we're not gonna live in fear of trolls anymore" that board is going to spiral down into nothing. Time will tell...you watch.

Until then, EI is TK's bitch to dance as we please.

God, I can't believe it. I agree with you 100%

Well, it's true...every word of it. Not that Shal or LoP or any of the staff will admit they've gone down a bad road...and TKers are not totally (or even mostly) responsible for it.

Oh I agree. That's why I said I agreed 100%. It's nonsense. I've never heard so much nonsense in my life.

Total agreement

Actually, you are wrong here. I do think we have gone down a "bad road". I have to agree with Cait's solution. Let people join and handle them if and when they cause trouble. Troublemakers will get in no matter what we at ExIsle do, so why sweat it, just handle them swiftly when needed.

But then I am only one voice. I know I'm not alone in this thinking, but I may be the only one to speak up here.

As far as TKers being responsible. Let me say that TKers "egged" it on. It takes two to tango, so TKers could not have done it alone.

Some how I knew you would agree with me. You're too good a Manager not to see it as the only reasonable solution.

Thanks for saying so..

Well, sounds to me as if you and who ever else on the staff with any vision need to band together and make some changes...or, if anything else, be a little more vocal.

CU, being vocal has done no good at all. It's like shouting into the wind. The problem as I see it is that they see nothing wrong.
WTF? You're a god dammed admin over there. You couldn't be in a better position to reverse the powerfuck we gave to EI.

I'm not buying this piss poor excuse.
