Everybody needs a hobby.

And ammo is so expensive these days. Fucking liberals take all the fun out of life. :(

I understand that, but it just seems like so much work for so few laughs. I've had more fun trolling the places that aren't mentioned on TK in a week than I have here in a while, despite rattling the admin cage.

Well, if it helps, we used to go after TrekBBS like how we are going after EI now. Its not all about EI, its just the "in vogue" place of the moment.

I dunno. It seems such a waste for good trolls to try to crumble the foundation. Haven't they been embarrassed enough?

I think it's really all charity for Caitriona.

No.

See, TrekBBS has a lot of faults. But, generally, when they fuck up, they don't repeat it. Generally.

EI isn't this way, however. I mean, they had a website (SlipstreamBBS) that was torn apart from internal strife, and moderator misconduct. Yet, here we are, four years later with the same fucking problems. And, it would be relatively easy to fix the problems. They just don't want to do it because they would have to give up too much control.

It makes the site a perfect "survival of the fittest" target for those seeking a hobby, or a good time.

Hell, its a also a good troll training ground, as their reactions are fairly predictable. They can get the hang of the standard canned responses, and develop countermeasures.

Is pointing out things on a case-by-case basis the best approach? Sure, you can get some good reactions from the 'Truth' troll (I love it, just force people to take bitter medicine and they go ballistic.)

Or you can take it to another level, if you really want to rock foundations..

Thing with EI is, you can take any approach you want with equal hilarity.

You can take the "do something perfectly legit to the extreme, and watch them turn their rules into swiss cheese trying to deal with you" approach, then slam them with the results. Or, you could be the QSF troll and beat them over the heads with their own policy. Really, its a troll's paradise when you think about it.

Anytime a policy gets too convoluted that policy can be used as a weapon in the right hands.

Something the EI staff has never figured out, despite repeated demonstrations.

Tell me about it. All I have is a .45, and Winchester white box isn't all that cheap to buy for it. Just got a box of JHP's and that's it for now. Going to use a 9mm more often once I get one...

Ultros, for me, personally, I'm not trying to disrupt EI in any way. But as a member of that board since its beginnings, I have seen a lot of changes. Quite a bit of those changes are not for the better when it comes to relations between EI members and TK members, new members, and equal treatment and harmony of the board.

And that's exactly what makes me start laughing when I see the people over there who can't see straight griping about common sense.

The only common sense decision they've made in the last year was... wait, I'm not sure I can think of one.

Some people are just far too eager to ditch the past and deny they came from Slipstream. If they'd remembered better and not accused everyone who brought it up of clinging to the past, blah blah blah, they might be better off.

^ Indeed

Those that don't remember the past and all that shit...

The fact is that the leash is as tight or tighter at EI now than the Slipstream was at the end under the iron thumb of the Lisanator. But that's not even the most fucked up part...

They did it to themselves!!!

Voluntarily!!!

Fuck me...
