I consulted IMDB about this, and they have Bruce Campbell listed as playing Ronald Reagan in the first episode, so that should be... interesting.

I enjoyed season 1. I was a little skeptical because after the original movie I was wondering how much more fucked up shit can go on in tiny Fargo, ND? Then it turns out they just use the name Fargo to highlight crimes in the north mid-west. That's a good hook. If I remember correctly they showed a note in the beginning of each episode explaining the story is taken from a true crime in the area. Makes me laugh at all the people who tell me I live in a cesspool of a city or state and how awful it must be with all the crime blah, blah, blah. Well, some pretty fucked up shit goes on in the "safer" parts of the country too and it certainly is entertaining to watch just how fucked up it is.

The premiere was wacky and weird, which is how it's supposed to be. I love the crimes being committed with that ever so polite accent.

2nd episode STILL GOOD. I think the Ronald Reagan movie was only for the first episode.

I think Tigh is alive but a sleeping vegetable.

Enjoyed the second episode, Bokeem Woodbine is great. Could've done without Fat Todd's manboobs, though.

Yes, another good one. I wanted to put an eyepatch over Tigh's lazy eye, just for old time's sake. Poor bunny! Lou is cool, Peggy and Ed are still dumb. Still unsure about the UFO angle, whatever it is.
