We were all over Seattle Wednesday - the Fremont troll, Sky View Tower, the Queen Anne neighborhood, Myrtle Edwards Beach, the Olympia Sculpture Park. Wanted to visit Pioneer Square but that was a scary place just to drive through. Took the ferry to Bremerton to spend the night.
On Thursday took the Foot Ferry from Port Orchard to Bremerton and back, visited the hobbit house, and walked around that pretty little town; visited the Farmer's Market in Bremerton and their dog fancier's event; then went to Port Townsend for the party on the dock and to spend the night. Lots of deer running around in Port Townsend.
Took the ferry out of Port Townsend to Coupeville this morning and took the Deception Pass Tour. My travel buddy is active in dog rescue and we visited a couple of humane societies here - in Everett and Skagit Valley. Now we are in Burlington for tonight.
We're heading to Leavenworth tomorrow and will spend the night in Wenatchee. Not sure if we'll visit Icicle Gorge tomorrow or Sunday morning before we head to Roslyn and Snoqualmie Falls, have dinner with some of my travel buddy's friends in Seattle, and then go to Kirkland for the night.
We are taking the Lake Washington boat tour out of Kirkand Monday morning before flying out of Seattle back to Texas.
Been a very busy trip and lots of fun. Love Washington.
