FYI, Dears...

Friday

Bazinga!
Existence does not begin and end on a single, indistinguishable message board.

Life goes on, jobs are gained, and gained again, dramas that are years old are deemed not worthy of current thought...

You know. Growth. ;)

In other words, summer is coming. Ride some real life waves, instead of cyber ones. :)

It's scary, but fun. I have no idea what will come of the direction I'm taking, but I'm loving it.

I'm not quite sure what you have cooking, but I'm excited for you.

Some of the best things in life start out as scary prospects. Whatever is in the works, I'm sending positive energies your way, my neck loving friend. :)

You should be thankful to the internet world and its inhabitants for providing you a moral shelter at a time in which you claimed to have suffered from a tumor (unless, of course, it was an "epic troll" LOLZ) instead of treating it like the bane of sdlaskd;laskdl;askep3kd039d3d9309d3d5666666666663.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with what you're saying in principle, however, the hypocrisy is blatant when taking into consideration your posting history.

M'a t'on bien compris ?

Oh, you are absolutely right, to be certain. I see nothing wrong with using the internet to broaden one's horizons, both socially and intellectually. Reaching out to others is a built-in asset to the online world, I think.

The people I am addressing are those that use the online world to totally *replace* reality, as opposed to just complementing it. They consider online personas who they've never met more supportive than real life family, and look to the internet as a PRIMARY source of comfort and advice (the support I received here when I was ill was met with deep gratitude, but it *never* took the place of my real life support).

All I am saying is some people out there have forgotten that the internet only allows for a very small slice of the total picture, and they have begun to be satisfied with that. They've lost the ability to positively interact with the real world.

Those are the people that need to shut off their computers and re-learn how to interact with flesh and blood society.

If I didn't have RL I would wither and die. The Internetz is a place where I get to act like a total retard fuckhead, and yet be absolutely brilliant at the same time.

Works for me.

Yeah, the interwebz is cool. Don't get me wrong. Sometimes I'm in awe at the access I have to information and people I would never have dreamed possible in my childhood.

I think sometimes, tho, we are getting *too* dependent on technology, and forgetting the real.

Some of my students won't even sit in the grass, because it's too 'dirty". They're used to sitting inside, playing video games, protected from the harsh grit of nature. Sigh.

It has to mean something deep and enigmatic about being content with oneself, and in harmony with the balance of 3-493-434okl3lp4k3l43.
