Glen A. Larson, Creator of TV?s 'Quincy M.E.,' 'Magnum, P.I.' and 'Battlestar Galactica,' Dies at 77

I'm not going to pretend I was a big fan of the original BSG, but the remake wouldn't have existed without it, obviously, and he created a lot of other successful shows as well (Knight Rider!)

We were just watching a Magnum PI episode last night, first time in ages. Great fun.

I watched every episode of Magnum, BSG, Buck Rogers, Knight Rider, the fall guy, and a shit load of Quincy.

The man is responsible for 1000s of hours of entertainment from my youth.

Few other men could make such a claim.

Rest now sir, you have more than earned it.

I didn't even know until today that he made Quincy. Used to watch a lot of that as a student.

And, though I find the original BSG close to unwatchable now, it was one of my favourite shows as a child and really spurred my interest in scifi and special effects, so I have something to be thankful to him for.

Yeah it seems he "co-composed" it with Stu Phillips (who also did the original BSG) so I don't know I READ IT ONLINE OKAY.
