So I was liek reading the headlines and stuff today, and it was all super miserable as always...
'teen sucked to watery death by freezing suprise undercurrent'......'jawz brother ate the remaining leg of a surfer who was already a shark attack survivor' 'man smashes car into a million pieces while running over child'
so i started thinking, fuck this is miserable...imagine collecting all this misery and putting it in some misery art exhibition, it would be cool, but there's too much misery for such a plan.
Then I thought of all the un reported misery...and then I thought...FUCK.. what does God's morning newspaper of misery look like...with all the access to secrets & thoughts and such?
I rekon it would be super miserable but also super fun.

Some people think God doesn't (or can't) exist, so there'd be no news for them, I'm afraid.

When I think of God, I think of prayer, and the power it wields and yields. Having experienced faith to my own thinking mind, I trust that God exists, and for a reason.

So, God's newspaper would be a Morning Edition of Miracles :D

I like it...I suppose being the inventor of cognitive behavioural therapy & all, it would be a better outcome to spend time on the glory & joy side of things.

I see it this way. If faith is a crutch, thank God some people will lean on it.

Is faith the flicker of the candle in response to asking for proof of God?
 
It's a nice idea because that would mean someone is watching. Much more comforting then the idea that we're a miserable virus rocketing along on a mud ball circling around some mediocre dying star in some dank corner of the galaxy to our inevitable doom with nothing but our cocks to hold onto and tears to pass our time.

Indeed....its a totally different concepts which opens up many possabilities, opportunities, hypothesis & new worlds of experiementation.
Its far more stimulating to the imagination than 'watching'...

I dunno....I always thought He was more the showman type.
Splitting sea's & rivers.....sending fire on water soaked offerings...smashing statues of demi-gods etc

If the candle flicker was all I got when asking this question....I'm not sure i would have been satisfied
 
I get that, I'm just saying that's enough for some.

I'd prefer the red sea parting for proof personally.

The question is where does the devine end and the good old fashioned human agenda begin?
 
I think they are always co existing....i rekon its a matter of what & when a human agenda aligns or crosses over with the divine, becoming something greater than the agenda alone.
 
Or humans like to try to associate their agenda with their hallucination of the divine (and also the other way around) to give it credence and license.
