The steady drumbeat for Democrats from NBC News, ABC News, CBS News, CNN News, MSNBC News, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the LA Times, the Boston Globe, Time, and Newsweek is really more an indication of wishful thinking than anything else. If it were up to these august bodies, Bush would have already been defeated in 2000, 2002, and 2004.

No wonder the Democrats complain every election that some mysterious dirty trick "stole" the election from them, because 24/7 you've got assclown liberal journalists shreiking nonstop that the Democrats are destined to win.

Yet maybe there's enough for the Democrats to win this time. Conservatives aren't happy with this president, his plans on illegal immigration and lack of fiscal restraint come to mind. Will they stay home? Or are they energized about the left's constant agitation against the war in Iraq? We'll find out soon!

Personally I'm excited about this election more than most others in memory. Should the Democrats take over, within a matter of days, they will cure Parkinson's disease (as promised by Michael J. Fox), end islamic terrorism worldwide (since Bush created it), save the planet (by signing the Kyoto protocols), and balance the budget by cancelling all spending for the soon-to-be redundant military!

I can't wait for the Democrats to save the world and everyone in it. That is all they promised to do, how hard could it be?

According to the media the GOP was losing ground during 2004 elections too and lookey what happend.

That aside, we all know that every ten or twelve years the people think they want a change. Once their bank accounts have been drained and just as the economy is about to make the potty prance in come the Republicans to make it all better once again.
 
When we invaded Iraq and made the world safer for Americans, the dems stood by and did nothing. Bush has raised the benefits of veterans, helped repair our schools, and refurbish our roads. Employment has soared and dems are trying to confuse you into thinking it hasn't.

His economic policy has been top notch since day one1!. People just want change every couple of years. Despite all the good Bush has done nobody is perfect.

I for one fully support the belief that America can fight a multi-frontal bi-casual war on every single contintent in many conflicts, and still have a booming economy. So far so good, so what is all the hubbub about?
 
Hm, I wonder if the dems will be complaining about voting systems this time around?

Oh no this time there were no computer errors, minorities turned away from polling places, or hanging chads. The dems will say it's their doing, being so vigilant the last few elections but really whenever the votes are in the dems favor all is well and when they fall into the Repubs favor it was a terrible error.
 
Nancy Pelosi in her "Miss America" speech was gloating about how the Democrats will "restore" integrity. Impeachment hearings, war crimes hearings, war profiteering hearings. George Bush is the #1 terrorist to these people, and they will prosecute THIS war with a fury that would make Rambo blanch.

This is what the voters voted for? LOL It's what they're gonna get!

(AP) BEIT HANOUN, Gaza Strip — Hamas' military wing called Wednesday on Muslims around the world to attack American targets following reports that an Israeli tank strike killed 18 people in the Gaza Strip.

The threat signaled a possible change in tactics by Hamas militants, who have historically directed their homicide bombings and rocket attacks only against Israeli targets.

"America is offering political, financial and logistic cover for the Zionist occupation crimes, and it is responsible for the Beit Hanoun massacre. Therefore, the people and the nation all over the globe are required to teach the American enemy tough lessons," Hamas said in a statement sent to The Associated Press.
